Stop by the shop to get a bunch, as it will go fast. I like to put it in my closet or dresser drawer to make things smell nice. Or maybe you want to put some under your pillow to help you sleep. You can also make a lavender syrup to use for a “special” mixed drink or to add to lemon-aide.

As a culture, we are feeling anxious. And why not? Our whole world has been turned upside down. No job, no money, no social life, instantly home educating, too much family, too much at home…I mean, you can only clean house SO much. Then when we do get to go out, we put on a mask, a continuous reminder of how much danger we feel and how we want to hide ourselves from it.

We have now been under the “stay at home” order for over 3 weeks. Are you running out of projects to do? Closets and cupboards are clean and organized, maybe even the basement and garage too! I went thru photos and organized albums for the first time in a few years…yeah, there were a LOT of photos. My husband helped me to mulch our garden beds. I was delighted to find a local greenhouse offering FREE delivery. I was happy to support their small business and get my mulch done too. We are all in this together!

This year has held a lot of sickness: flu, coughs, pneumonia. In the shop the immune system shelves were looking empty, so I have ordered in new stock to make sure we are prepared.
